Week 1: New Beginnings
Read a book by a Black indie author.
Pick a book with a pink cover (Breast Cancer Awareness Month).
Share your current read on social media with #BRAEReads.
Read a short story or novella.
Choose a book recommended by a friend.
Start a book outside your favorite genre.
Listen to an audiobook while walking or relaxing.
Week 2: Expanding Horizons
8. Read a book by a debut author.
9. Pick up a nonfiction book that teaches you something new.
10. Revisit a book you loved as a teen.
11. Read a poem (or collection) and share a favorite line.
12. Try a book from a global Black author (Africa, Caribbean, UK, etc.).
13. Choose a book with strong female characters.
14. Spend 30 minutes reading outdoors.
