    One Love Author & Reader Reunion (#OLR26) is just what its name says!

    It’s a literary conference designed to bring authors, readers and industry professionals together to share their common love of books. This event showcases romance and women’s fiction books that give hope and escapism while providing a safe, inclusive and caring atmosphere.     The San Antonio African American Book Festival (SAAABF) is held every year, on the last Saturday of Black History Month at Second Baptist Community Center right next door to the historic G.W. Carver Branch Library in San Antonio, Texas. This Annual Black History Month event was created to celebrate the Power of Black Literature, reinforce the fact that Representation Matters and to proudly Encourage Black Economics.

    The 7th Annual San Antonio African American Book Festival will be held on Saturday February 28, 2026. The event is actively promoted and marketed and is currently one of the largest African American Book Festivals in South Texas. We have hosted hundreds of Authors throughout the United States and thousands of attendees over the past six years.
